About Event

Poverty is prevalent in The Gambia, West Africa. There is a severe lack of resources available to deliver a quality education, and libraries are unheard of. Children from impoverished families are often forced out of school and work in the fields to subsidize the household income.
Our program will transform the educational system and aim to make a positive impact on the lives of these children.

The mission of the Rural Enrichment Program aims to improve the educational opportunities for children in rural villages of The Gambia, West Africa, by providing tools and resources necessary for a 21st Century education.
Every little bit makes a huge difference and we have several projects that could use your help.

Some of our volunteer and career opportunities include:
Our first project is slated to begin in 2010 with the North Bank division of the Gambia. For more information about all of our projects, please visit our Projects page where you will find information about the villages we are working in, our progress, and important updates.
