Poverty is prevalent in The Gambia, West Africa. There is a severe lack of resources available to deliver a quality education, and libraries are unheard of. Children from impoverished families are often forced out of school and work in the fields to subsidize the household income. Our program will transform the educational system and aim to make a positive impact on the lives of these children. Education should be accessible to everyone; therefore, the goal of Yallalba Non-Profit Organization and the Rural Enrichment Program is to bring library systems, Internet access, and computer labs to the five divisions of The Gambia. Only with your help can we implement these projects to Educate Gambian Youth! For more information, please visit our FAQ's section.
